Poker Night-all the volunteer slots have been filled.  Thank you!  We still need donations for 
prizes and gifts certificates.  Please help!

All-County Band Clinic-March 8 (afterschool) and March 9th all day.  RHS is hosting. 
 Volunteers needed to sell snacks during breaks at the clinic and possibly at the concert.  
Need volunteers to hand out programs and tend to the doors during the concert.

Looking Ahead to Next Year:

**To the current board/committee members-please let me know 
either way what your status is for next year.  We hope you will commit to one more year or more!

**To all band parents-we are forming a nominating committee to fill vacant board 
positions and committee chairs.  THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL HAVE TO FILL A SLOT!!  
It only means you will be helping me find people to fill the slots.  Please contact me if you are able to help.

**A side note-think of what band has done for your child.  Our children are truly blessed to have such a 
dedicated band director. Our children work very hard at being an awesome band.  Our kids deserve a 
dedicated group of parents that will work to ensure a successful year for the 
Pride of Riverside next year.  Join us in making 2010-2011 the best year yet for the band!!!

**Having said that-if you are interested in serving on next year's 
board please let me know.  We will definitely find a place for you!

A few new details about the Disney Trip itinerary:  leave Thursday around midnight maybe earlier. Rehearsal, 

go to school that Thursday, just like the gator bowl, routine rehearsals too.  Florida Parade at Epcot United Kingdom (stop and do a little number Plaza area) to Journey to the Imagination Monday the 29^th;

Arrive Friday Morning .. come back on Tuesday after a full day in the park and Arrive 31^st 6am

 Depart Evening 3/24/09 (Leave around midnight) Florida 3/25 - 3/31 Return Home 3/31/09 
(Will return around 6:30 am that morning) 

Students are responsible for providing accessories for their instruments such as reeds, swabs, valve oil, etc. You may purchase these items at any reputable music dealership. Currently, a representative from Music and Arts Centers, Phil Carr, makes a weekly visit to the school. If you wish to take advantage of this great service, please follow the directions below.

Directions for ordering musical items to be delivered to the school:

1. Email Mr. Carr at pcarr@musicarts.com before Thursday. Include YOUR NAME, YOUR SCHOOL, and the items you wish to order. As a large music dealership, Music and Arts will carry any accessory you need but if you are unsure, go to their website at www.musicandarts.com

2. Mr. Carr should email you back with the price of the items you ordered.

3. Bring the money in on Friday when he delievers your item(s).

It's that simple and no driving!
